 Bio Vice President, Federal Affairs:
As Vice President, Federal Affairs, Joel brings to CFM broad public policy experience as a senior Congressional aide and successful private sector lobbyist.
Joel spent five years on the staff of Washington Congressman Brian Baird, where he worked on a wide range of Northwest issues. He rose up through the ranks of the Baird office, and ultimately served as Legislative Director before leaving Capitol Hill.
Before joining CFM, Joel worked as a lobbyist with a D.C. firm where he represented public and private sector clients, many of which are based on the West Coast. Joel's areas of issue expertise include appropriations, transportation, energy, budget, taxes, trade, defense, labor, banking and small business.
Joel and his wife Sarah were married in 2002. They both grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and live in Maryland with two young children. Joel graduated Frostburg State University with an accounting major and political science minor. << Back to Our Team Listing Page |
