Bio
Partner Dave Fiskum was at Tektronix before founding Conkling Fiskum & McCormick, but spent much of his career in Oregon state government, holding management positions at Portland State University, the Department of Human Resources, the Economic Development Department and the Executive Department. Dave worked as press secretary for Oregon Republican Governor Vic Atiyeh in 1982 and for U.S. Representative Les AuCoin, a Democrat, in Washington, D.C. in 1978-79.
With Conkling, Fiskum graduated from Seattle Pacific University and worked for The Daily Astorian where he covered city hall, county government and the Port of Astoria. Dave likes to spoil a good walk by slapping dimpled white balls around perfectly nice green lawns. We’ve come to accept it.

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library District has never charged late fees for overdue materials. Some board members proposed changing that policy and charging patrons late fees for overdue books. District managers wanted to know what library patrons thought about the proposal.
